The Texas Taxidermy Association graciously hosted UTA Board Member Jan VanHoesen for a full, hands on carcass casting seminar in Kerrville, TX. Jan covered all steps of the sand plaster casting process with assistance from her audience.

There is no better way for you to truly understand a process or technique than getting in there and getting your hands dirty doing it!

There was no lack of participation when it came to seeing how to get the process done!

The UTA would like to thank our friends at the Texas Taxidermy Association for their attendance and contribution in making this seminar a great time by all!

Thank you Jan for putting on a great seminar!

Thank you Jan for putting on a
great seminar!

The UTA grew from the need for unity and professionalism within the taxidermy industry.  In art, unity occurs when all of the elements combine to make a balanced, harmonious, complete whole.  The UTA creates that unity, a place for all individuals to come together for the betterment of the industry and those that support it.

It’s no coincidence that the UTA starts with You!  Be a part of the most positive new force in taxidermy.  Join the United Taxidermist Association today.
