              United Taxidermist Association

The United Taxidermist Association, founded by a group of like-minded individuals, was born out of a need to promote unity, professionalism and education within the taxidermy industry. Representatives from in and around the United States came together with a vision for advancing the art of taxidermy with special emphasis on education and youth. On September 12th, 2007 the United Taxidermist Association was officially incorporated in the State of New York.

Our Vision is to unite, promote and champion the needs of taxidermists and those that support and strengthen us.

Our Mission is straight forward - To promote and advance the art of taxidermy, the needs of taxidermists, and the needs of others having a common interest in the art of taxidermy through advocacy, service, and education.

To ensure membership needs are heard within the UTA, we have established representatives from six US regions, the U.S. Territories, as well as an international representative and a Board Member at Large.

The UTA is working towards enhancing the image of the industry by uniting taxidermists and promoting the highest standards of taxidermy art, advocating and supporting the conservation of wildlife, working in collaboration with individuals, organizations, the private sector and government agencies, forming strategic alliances and promoting information sharing, monitoring, tracking and supporting legistlation that advances and secures the art of taxidermy.

The United Taxidermist Association provides education and training services regarding all aspects of the art of taxidermy including a variety of technical services to taxidermists, state associations and others who share a passion and love of the art. Not only do we develop seminars to be held in conjunction with your state associations, we offer opportunities for you, our member, to participate in other programs that benefit our youth.

We thank you for believing in and supporting our mutual desire for the better education of our peers and our youth while opening new avenues of shared knowledge with our colleagues in the sporting industry.  With our foundation in place, the UTA is looking for you to be a part of the strength and structure that make up a positive, forward thinking and progressive taxidermy association.

We are open to suggestions from our members for making the association better.  Please contact your regional director at www.unitedtaxidermyassociation.com.
